Brianna Le, pianist and violinist, is a rising 9th grader at lake Braddock Secondary School. She has been playing piano since she was 4 years old. Since then, she has twice earned the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) First Class Honors with Distinction Award and was subsequently invited to perform at the University of Florida. She has also received the National Federation of Music Clubs' (NFMC) Superior Rating for Piano Solo for nine consecutive years. ​ At the age of 9, Brianna began studying violin. She is currently a principal violinist of the Lake Braddock Middle School Chamber Orchestra, as well as The Capital Symphonic Youth Orchestras' (TCSYO) Philharmonic Orchestra. Brianna also held the 8th chair of the 2025-2026 Junior District Orchestra (JDO). ​ Beyond performance, Brianna enjoys drawing and composing/arranging music. One of her original compositions earned First Place in Fairfax County and Second Place in Virginia in the Music Composition category of the 2024 Reflections Competition. She is also a competitor on the LBSS Speech & Debate team, and recently earned 1st place in the 2025-2026 Middle School Speech Nationals.

Violin

Emi Rongero is a rising 9th grade student at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Her introduction to music began with piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued with the violin at the age of 9. She is a repeat concertmaster for the LBSS middle school Chamber Orchestra and recently auditioned into the premier high school Symphony Orchestra. ​ She auditioned into the highly competitive District XI Junior District Orchestra for each of the past two years and led the 2025-26 JDO as concertmaster. Outside of school, Emi is a member of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO) and a previous member of The Capitol Symphonic Youth Orchestras (TCSYO). ​ Emi is a founding member of the FourSet Quartet youth strings chamber group, as well as a member of Back to Bach, a national youth-led organization focused on promoting accessible arts education in schools. Emi studies violin under the direction of Ms. Najin Kim, a member of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra.   In addition to her musical activities, Emi is a competitive soccer player.

Viola

Jonathan Gu is a rising 9th grade violist at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Jonathan began his classical music training at the age of 5 on the piano. From 2029 to 2024, he received the National federation of Music Clubs' Superior Rating for Piano Solo for 6 consecutive years. He began playing the viola at age 9 and has continued to grow as a musician ever since. He currently studies with Ms. Fang Qi, an internationally recognized award-winning violinist. ​ In the 2025-2026 school year, Jonathan auditioned into the Junior District XI Orchestra for the second consecutive time, this year as the principal violist. In addition, he auditioned into the American Youth Concert Orchestra, and was also invited to join their highly selective Junior Chamber Ensemble program, where he played in the Glazunov Quintet.    At school, Jonathan is the principal violist of Lake Braddock's top middle school orchestra, and recently auditioned into the top high school orchestra. ​ Outside of his eventful music life, Jonathan enjoys cooking, playing basketball, and watching football.

Cello

Jaxon Chan is an accomplished 14-year old cellist with a deep passion for orchestral and chamber music. Currently performing as the cellist for the FourSet Quartet, Jaxon began his musical journey at the age of 7 and currently studies under the guidance of Kenneth Law, with whom he was trained since 2022. Over the past seven years, his dedication to the instrument has earned him consistent "Superior" ratings at the annual Solo and Ensemble festival. ​ Jaxon has been a member of the Junior District Orchestra (JDO) since the seventh grade, culminating in his selection as Principal Cellist this past year. His middle school career was highlighted by his placement in the premier Chamber Orchestra, and he was recently accepted into his high school's top-tier Symphony Orchestra. ​ When he is not practicing the cello, Jaxon is an elite and active competitive swimmer. Specializing in the breaststroke, his dedication in the pool has earned him multiple medals at the prestigious ISCA (International Swim Coaches Association) Championship Meets. Jaxon brings the same focus, discipline, and drive to both his musical and athletic pursuits, making him a versatile leader in his community.
